Professional Background

As the Founder and Managing Partner of De La Torre Wealth Strategies, Gaston is honored to serve as an advisor to individuals, business owners, high-net-worth professionals, and their families. He enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds to help them achieve their financial goals. His conversation with clients begins with carefully listening to their stories and finding out what they value personally, professionally, and financially. His work involves deep collaboration with clients to create a customized strategy that meets them where they are and takes them to where they want to be.

Gaston began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 2012 with New York Life Insurance Company (NYL). Over the course of his career, he has been fortunate to earn industry recognition and numerous professional awards. Some of these accolades include Rising Star of the Year (2014, NYL), Executive Council Member (2014/205, NYL), Producer of the Year (2016, NYL), and Top 25 for Life Production (2016, NYL). Additionally, he has qualified for Mass Mutual's Leaders Conference* recognition from 2019 to 2021.

Personal Background

During Gaston's college years, he played Division I college golf at New Mexico State University. Among his many achievements in collegiate golf, the most prominent was earning the NCAA two-time Academic All-American Award. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Government, a supplementary major in Law & Society and a minor in Philosophy.

Gaston serves as an active board member of Seton Catholic College Prep School, where he chairs their Stewardship and Development committee.
He also serves on the Investment Committee for the Archdiocese of Seattle.
Outside of the office, Gaston enjoys playing golf, traveling around the country, and spending time with his wife, Emily, and their two wonderful daughters.
